1. Biblical Counseling Internship
Oasis Counsel has opportunities for you to get involved. The first opportunity is our Internship for Biblical Counseling. This is a three phase process that equips and trains those who have love for God and others in area of the counseling ministry. As Paul David Tripp says, “we are ALL counselors.” The question is what kind of counselor are we supposed to be? God’s Word tells us to, “let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.” (Colossians 4:6, NIV) God’s Word says that we need to be ready to give answers that are full of love and wisdom that glorifies God. Oasis Counsel wants to help you if you have a love and passion for Biblical Counseling. You can click on the internship packet and begin to fill it out.
2. One to One Discipleship
This is a ministry that will help you grow in faith and love for God. It is a 9 week course that will look at topics like prayer, Scripture, and living the Spirit filled life. You will work one on one with a person who has already gone through the discipleship material. It is a time of sweet fellowship and diving into the depths of God’s Word.
3. Introduction to Biblical Counseling…Coming Soon!
They will introduce Biblical Counseling to the those who have an interest or want to sharpen their counseling skills. It will be a fun time where we will answer question like what is biblical counseling? Who should be counselors? What about are heart issues? How should we view God, others, ourselves? We will be start classes in spring of 2012. Hope to see you there!
